• The adulthood uses a different approach to the chase scene, the camera movement is much more steady which allows you to follow the chase better.

• Adulthood uses a very different type of chase scene as instead of the pursuer being someone like a rival gang member or an assailant, the pursuers are two police officers. Due to the power that people who are breaking the law in urban dramas have the police are extremely irrelevant within this chase, which is why the police officers are out of the chase within twenty seconds.

• The non diagetic music in the chase scene is very effective as it fits in with the pace of the actual chase scene very well, this adds to the tension within the actual chase as the music makes the chase seem more intense than it would be without the music.

• The jump cuts are also extremely useful in adding intesity within the chase scene, this is a good editing aspect as it adds a fast pace to the chase itself, without it the only shot you would see would only be a tracking shot that follows the protagonist.
