Green Street Green Hooligans - Opening credits

  •  At 1:26 is where they display the first set of text within the film, the first text is the prize that the film won at the SXSW film festival
  • They have the logo of the SXSW film festival zoom into the screen and move forward and backwards, therefore the text is never stationary on the screen, this means that the text doesn't seem as if its not a part of the film due to the fact that many of the shots before and after this display of text are fast paced shots which contain violence, so if the text was bland and stationery then it would not truly be a complimenting part of the film
  • The text is a grey colour however has a metallic silver feel to it, this makes it seem as if it was forged out of steel, this gives the text a very hard feel to it which matches the characters within the film.

  •  At 1:32 the next set of text which displays 'exhilarating anything-can-happen excitement' flies across the screen from each side of the page, the text is also flying across at a very fast pace which sort of shocks the viewers and makes the text stand out so the audience take in the information extremely quickly.

  • The bold letters at 1:57 in the green street symbolises it at the title as you can differentiate it from the rest of the text within the trailer, so. So now that you've identified it as an important part of the film you will associate words green street as an important part of the film

  • The text in this part (2:03) of the trailer is important as it shows where you can find any extra information about the film green street, also by saying that it features music from a well known band that can encourage their listeners to go and watch the film just because it features such music, this is a very good idea as it increased the target audience hitch would watch their film.
