Using an app for first time lapse
This is my first attempt at a time lapse. Done on the app OSNAP! on my iPhone to get an idea of how to shoot and what the best times are in order for the time lapse to become effective to the audience. The sun setting is found in many urban dramas, for example in Ill Manors which highlights landmarks of London, or iconic buildings that make the genre instantly recognisable.

Evaluation
Through experimenting with this app, and outside conditions, the sun setting poses as a very effective way to open our trailer. As I used my iPhone this was not the most effective and professional way to film a time lapse the cross winds coming from the lake made my phone drop at one point, therefore affecting the whole time lapse - which was on a timer to take a photo every 30 seconds - so during filming using our Cannon, we will have access to a tripod, so winds wont pose as an issue.
