Evaluation of Shooting day - Bedroom Scene

Evaluation

  • I believe my shooting day was highly successful as I had a small amount of shots to do but as these shots were important they needed to be perfect so that they could be used within the trailer.

  • Firstly I had to organise my Mum and my niece on the bed and make sure the lighting in the room was sufficient enough, this was because I had to re-film this shot due to the lighting not being bright enough the room which meant that you couldn't see my mum well enough.
  • Secondly I had to incorporate my niece into the shot well enough so that she was a factor within the shot that showed some kind of struggle which we were trying to portray within the shot so I made my mum carry my niece while filming her, one disadvantage is that she was looking right at the camera due to the fact that she was oblivious to what was going on.

  • The other shot I had to film was an over the shoulder shot of my mum watching my close the door, I made my brother in law lie behind my mum and shoot from just behind her, and the shot shows me closing the door, this shot was good as you can clearly see my mum watching me within the shot.
