Planning Poster Photos

We have previously made some test photos to be used on our poster.

On our next filming day we will create these final photos so that we can start manipulating them on Photoshop to be used on our photo.

A common convention in urban dramas is to have the main protagonist's face in a close up shot. This is common in many posters especially in 'Bullet Boy.

We also need to incorporate the London element of our urban drama as seen in the 'Sket' poster.

We then have the options of taking a photo of the skyline of London and manipulating this into the background of the photo of our main protagonist, we will use the iconic landmarks of London as our secondary focus point in the photo. Taking this inspiration from Sket as seen in this plan below.

Or we could take a photo of our main protagonist in front of an estate, connoting that he is ruling this estate, and would make the story relatable to some audience members, and also they can see instantly that this is an Urban Drama film, a genre they will enjoy.

Overall I think the planning of these photos is very beneficial for us in our planning for our poster. It will guide us to create the perfect image when we are next on set.
